WHO IS ANB?
A New Beginning Home Support Agency (based out of Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, Canada) is a private agency specializing in compassionate and professional personal home care services for our valued clients. In collaboration with Eastern Health and our Private clientele, we aim to enhance the everyday lives of our clients, their families and our community in their time of need.

A BRIEF HISTORY:
In 2013, entrepreneurs Lynn Yetman and Marina Thistle dreamed of providing the best possible home support services available in today’s competitive health care industry. Lynn, with a 20+ years experience in home care, and Marina, with extensive background in the financial industry, formed a partnership that would try to revolutionize personal home care in this province! A lofty but not unattainable goal indeed!

Starting in a small, shared second floor office on Barbour Drive in Mt. Pearl with minimal staff, we proceeded to grow at an amazing rate. Striving to provide the utmost professional, compassionate care for clients through trained and competent staff is our main objective. We are ecstatic to have a growing roster of both full and part-time Support Workers, and hiring more everyday! We believe that our client/staff confidentiality is also a principal right we afford to everyone. The agency holds all client/staff information in the strictest of confidence at all times!

In December 2015, amidst a lot of work and long hours, we proudly moved into our own office space located at 1 Dunn’s Road in Mount Pearl (in the same building as Marie’s Mini Mart & Jasmine’s Restaurant). 2019 was our best year to date and the future looks brighter than ever. “We believe in our abilities, our staff and most importantly our passion to enable our clients to remain in their own homes by providing an higher standard of care”.

We believe that our remarkable staff members are ambassadors between our agency and the community and if treated with dignity and respect, they will work hard to reinforce the agency’s values and goals. We are proud to be able to offer all our workers an industry competitive hourly wage, ensuring that we can continue to meet and exceed the industry standard care.
